Melissa S. Lobos was born and raised in Lewisburg, PA. She graduated from Lewisburg High School in 1981 and attended Penn State University, majoring in history, where she graduated with honors in 1985. She attended the Dickinson School of Law and graduated in 1988, at which time she was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. After practicing in Pittsburgh for several years, she returned to Mifflinburg to partner with her father, the late Raymond J. Lobos, in the law firm of Groover and Lobos, LLC.

Melissa joined forces with her partner, Robin S. Martin, in 2013 when the two decided to merge their individual practices.
In addition to representing individual clients, Melissa is solicitor to several municipal entities including local townships and sewer authorities.

When she’s not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, especially her new granddaughter, her friends and her beloved pets. She also enjoys gardening and sailboating.
